If you intend on renting a car at DEN, you’ll need to catch the free rental car shuttle located on Level 5 which takes you to the rental car area that’s about 5 minutes away from the airport.
Once you’ve got your wheels, just follow signs for Peña Boulevard for about 5 miles to exit 5 Tower Road where we are located near E 71st avenue.
Finally, the 169L Smoky Hill bus route leaves from the ground level of DEN and will take you directly to the Native Roots Tower Road dispensary in approximately 15 minutes.
Once you’ve got what you need from the shop, head into Denver toward your final destination. Getting to Denver from the Tower - Airport Native Roots marijuana dispensary near the Denver airport is easy.
The quickest way to get to Denver from Native Roots on Tower Road is to head north on Tower Road and then go left, heading south on Peña Boulevard. Heading south on Peña Boulevard, you can either go to I-70 and head west towards Park Avenue, looking for exit 274.
If you have some time to stop and smell the flowers, you can take an alternative route into Denver that takes you by the community open space, “First Creek at DEN”. The First Creek at DEN open space is a great spot on the way into Denver from DEN to stop, pause, and enjoy nature’s beauty without getting off the beaten path.
Heading south on Peña Boulevard towards I-70, turn right to head west on E 56th avenue. The First Creek DEN open space is a part of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Park and features some great hiking trails, and you might even get to see a prairie dog or two.
If you’re traveling to the Rocky Mountains from Denver International Airport, you can travel by plane, train, bus, or car. Since Colorado features a diverse array of peaks and mountains to enjoy, the only question is which way are you heading?
Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs are the most popular cities to visit for travelers leaving and arriving at Denver International Airport (DEN). Pikes Peak is one of the most famous mountains to visit and it's southwest of the airport just outside of Colorado Springs
To go to Pikes Peak / Colorado Springs, leave the Native Roots Tower Road location by car, head north, and follow signs towards Peña Boulevard. Head towards Denver on I-70 W and then quickly take exit 282 to head south to I-225.
Then, drive south following I-225 S, to I-25 S, and go towards Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak. The approximate drive time is 1 hour and 21 minutes.
For a more scenic route to Pike’s Peak, head east on Peña Boulevard and then take a right to go south on Colorado Highway E 470. After approximately 20 miles, take a left onto Jordan Road, a right on Hess Road, and then get onto I-25 S and drive 52 minutes to Cascade-Chipita Park.
Get off at exit 141 for US 24 W Cimarron St. and keep right to follow signs for Manitou Spgs/PikesPeak/Woodland Pk and enjoy the drive to Pike’s Peak. The approximate drive time is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
