• Effective 1/05/2026 a new state rule requiring all medical patients to present their Physician Certification when making Medical Purchases was implemented. The Physician Certificate must be presented in print or pdf format during each shopping visit. Here are the details from the Colorado MED rule update.

• Physical Inspection Required. A Licensee must physically view and inspect the patient or primary caregiver’s registry card, including any valid and verified digital registry card, physician certification, and proof of identification to confirm the information contained on the documents and also to judge the authenticity of the documents presented. How to Obtain and Present Your Physician Certification

1. Log in to your patient account

2. Under “Tracking Inbox: Patient Registration”, click on your name next to “Active."

3. Select “Provider Certification."

4. Click on the most recently issued certification.

5. Select the printer icon to access the certification to print or download.
