Native Roots Tejon is only 15 minutes from the world-famous rock formations of Colorado Springs known as Garden of the Gods. Garden of the Gods features over 1,300 acres of amazing geological sandstone formations, hiking trails, rock climbing, road and mountain biking, horseback riding, and pure Colorado wilderness.

Access to the Garden of the Gods is amazingly free to the public! With 21 miles of trails ranging from beginner to advanced, it’s easy to get lost in the park. It’s best recommended to stop in at the Visitor & Nature Center on your way in to grab a map of the park.

Best Dispensary Near Red Rock Canyon Open Space

A true gem of the Pikes Peak region and often overlooked by tourists, the Red Rock Canyon Open Space is characterized by a series of canyons and ridges, a quarry, and multiple picnic and pavilion areas.

Take a trip to the Red Rock Canyon Open Space and you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but you’re right outside of Colorado Springs! Visitors enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding area, endless hiking trails, off-leash dog areas, permit-required rock climbing, and bike-only areas.

There are a total of 22 trails in the Red Rock Canyon Open Space to hike and 85 different rock climbing routes to explore in this free public open space.

Conveniently located along I-25, visitors can take the Cimarron Street exit west. Turn left onto Ridge Road after the light at 31st Street and the Red Rock Canyon Open Space will be on the south side of the street.

Bear Creek Regional Park is three miles over a 545-acre recreational park offering picnic pavilions, playing fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, an archery range, a horseshoe pit, volleyball, and basketball courts, and ten miles of non-motorized trails.

Bear Creek Regional Park is great for biking and hiking. Visitors can also learn how to ride horses and volunteer in the local community garden. The park is named after Bear Creek, the creek running through the park, and is among Colorado’s most visited and popular parks for family events and parties.

Getting to Bear Creek Regional Park from Native Roots Tejon is easy. From our nearby dispensary, take Tejon Street to Cheyenne Blvd. Turn right onto Cresta Road and then turn left onto Arugs Blvd and follow signs for park parking.

Dubbed “America’s Mountain”, Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. One of the most amazing things about Pikes Peak is that – weather permitting – you can drive to the summit.

The drive up to the summit takes visitors along Pikes Peak Highway, a road famous worldwide for the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, a motor race held since 1916. The Highway is also used for the Pikes Peak Cycling Hill Climb and the USA Cycling Hill Climb National Championships. With around half a million visitors to Pikes Peak each year, let’s just say it’s a popular hill to race!
