"Strawberry Cough is one of those names people heard long before they ever saw the real thing, whispered about as the strain that actually tasted like strawberries and still made you cough. This Retro selection comes from the Haze and Strawberry Fields line in your seed bank and was hunted to feel as close to that legend as possible. The buds are lighter green with bright orange hairs and a classic, slightly airy structure that looks like something you would have found in a glass jar in the mid 2000s. Smells like its straight out of Kyle Kushman's closet. The nose lands right where you want it: soft strawberry, light red fruit and cream, with a gentle haze like spice sitting in the background. Your tasting panel picked up slight fruit, a kind of sour creamy note, and that unmistakable berry character that actually shows up on the palate, not just the name. On the grind it leans juicier and more dessert like, and in the smoke there is a clear strawberry tone followed by a noticeable throat tickle that lives up to its reputation.
