"Pre 98 Bubba is like opening a time capsule from the late 90s, when Bubba cuts were traded like gold and every jar smelled like a hot boxed living room. This Retro selection comes from your original Pre 98 line and was chosen to feel as close as possible to that era: chunky, tight indica buds with deep greens that can shadow into darker hues, dusted in thick, sticky trichomes. It looks like the kind of flower people used to set aside for special nights, back when strain names were spoken more quietly and written on the inside of a CD case. Twist the lid and it hits with a heavy, old school kush nose. Earthy and musky up front, layered with notes of coffee, cocoa, and a little sweet spice, like a bag of dark roast beans sitting next to a box of chocolates. Underneath that is a subtle citrus and berry whisper that keeps the aroma from feeling one note, giving it a rich, dessert like complexity. The flavor mirrors the smell with hashy earth, roasted coffee and faint chocolate on the inhale and a lingering, slightly sweet finish on the exhale.
