Boulder is a beautiful college mountain town filled with gorgeous mountain scenery and a bustling university that activates the city with regular events and happenings. There’s always something going on!

If you need some inspiration for your next Boulder adventure, then check out some of the Boulder experiences we’ve curated below.

      Best Dispensary Near Panorama Point

Just outside of town 1.1 miles up Flagstaff Mountain Road lays the gorgeous outlook known as Panorama Point. Panorama Point has limited picnic tables and only about a dozen parking spaces at the trailhead, but there is a small paid parking lot available.

Panorama Point offers visitors spectacular views of the City of Boulder from above. If you need to get away from it all and fast, this getaway spot is just minutes away from our Dandelion dispensary.

Getting to Panorama Point from Native Roots Dandelion is easy and takes less than ten minutes. Take 9th Street south from our dispensary and turn right at Chautauqua Park on Baseline Road. Then, stay left at the fork to continue onto Flagstaff Road. Follow signs for Panorama Point as you ascend into the hills.

      Best Dispensary Near Sunrise Amphitheater

Another hidden gem in the hills west of Boulder, the Sunrise Amphitheater offers guests breathtaking views of the City of Boulder.

This spacious yet intimate outdoor amphitheater is big enough for 100 guests and is regularly used as a wedding venue for ceremonies and elopement.

People love using Sunrise Amphitheater for their wedding ceremonies because it offers gorgeous mountain views and is an incredibly affordable venue for weddings.

The amphitheater is only open from May - October due to winter weather and snow. It’s highly recommended to organize shuttles to the venue due to limited parking availability. Guests also need to manage the hot sun and warm temperatures and be mindful of the chance of summer rainstorms in the afternoon.

Overall, the affordability of such an amazing mountain wedding venue is worth the challenge of getting there and braving any potential weather risks. Check out the Boulder Open Space & Mountain Park’s website to check availability for the Sunrise Amphitheater.

The Sunrise Amphitheater is located twenty minutes from Native Roots Dandelion. From Flagstaff Road, turn right onto Flagstaff Summit Road and follow signs to the amphitheater.

Best Dispensary Near Eldorado Canyon State Park

With massive sandstone cliffs, miles of trails, and golden canyon walls, this hidden treasure offers visitors the iconic Colorado outdoor experience, and the best part is that it’s in Boulder’s backyard.

With more than five hundred technical rock climbing routes, Eldorado Canyon is a mecca for rock climbers from around the world. Hikers and bikers also flock to this state park in summer to get away from the city, and in the winter the park offers guests epic cross-country skiing and snowshoeing experiences.

If you plan to drive to Eldorado Canyon State Park, be mindful that you’ll need a reservation. Visitors that use the Eldo Shuttle, walk, or bike to the park are not required to have any reservations.

The free shuttle offers service on weekends and holidays from summer through fall from US 36 & McCaslin to Eldorado Canyon State Park, Marshall Mesa, Doudy Draw, and South Mesa trailheads. Otherwise, guests in vehicles will need to get a Timed Vehicle Reservation from Colorado Parks & Wildlife.

Eldorado Canyon State Park is only twenty minutes from Native Roots Dandelion in Boulder. Follow CO-93 south until you get to Eldorado Springs Drive / CO-170. Watch for signs to take you to the state park.

      Best Dispensary Near Flagstaff Mountain

Boulder’s fourth highest peak at 7,283 feet, Flagstaff Mountain offers visitors amazing views of the Continental Divide, the Boulder Range, and the Colorado Plains. Popular for hiking, wildlife watching, and picnicking, Flagstaff Mountain has roads, trails, and public spaces for everyone to enjoy.

The best part about Flagstaff Mountain is that it’s the only summit you can drive to in Colorado. Even though driving is an option, adventurers can make a day out of it a hike to the summit of Flagstaff Mountain.

The Flagstaff summit hike is about 3 miles with 1,120 feet in elevation gain, beginning from the end of Baseline Road. Visitors in cars can easily get closer to make the hike to the summit shorter by following Flagstaff Road to Flagstaff Summit Road.

Make sure to stay hydrated and enjoy the journey! This beautiful place is easy to visit on a day trip from Boulder and will make an adventure you won’t soon forget.
