Colorado Marijuana Dispensary | Native Roots Marijuana Dispensary is collecting canned food at each of its 19 locations around Colorado to support local charitable partners in each of the communities in which it operates. The staff, patients and customers are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items in specially marked collection bins at any Native Roots Colorado Marijuana Dispensary. These items will be delivered to specially identified food banks in each community and provide resources for local individuals.
In the spirit of holiday fun, regional Native Roots locations are challenging each other to repeatedly fill their donation bins and deliver the most food to members of their community in need. The winning team will earn the coveted “Golden Weed Can” Trophy.
While the competition is all in good fun, we recognize that many people face the challenge of providing food for themselves and their families all year round. As individuals and as an organization, we are compelled to help those who struggle.
The regions will deliver their food to the following food pantries:
Front Range – Champa, Edgewater, Santa Fe, Littleton, Highlands and the Corporate Headquarters: Bienvenidos Food Bank
Mountain Region – Vail, Aspen, Frisco, Dillon – Family & Intercultural Resource Center
Southern Region – Colorado Springs, Trinidad – Care and Share Food Bank
Adams County – Adams, Tower, Production Facilities – Food for Hope
Boulder County – Boulder, Dandelion, Boulder Production Facility – Community Food Share
Native Roots is committed to supporting our community and living the ideals of our company culture. Each of these valuable organizations plays a vital role in serving their community and embodies the spirit of giving throughout the year. Please join us in this effort to help those who are hungry during this season of giving by dropping off a few items at your local Colorado Marijuana Dispensary. Together we can make a real difference in our community.
